DO YOU DISPOSE OF PIANOS?
We do dispose of pianos. Generally speaking, we quote for the removal and the cost of delivering the piano to a transfer station in the GTA, which all charge by weight. We do this often enough that we can provide an accurate quote for this service at time of booking.
DO YOU DO LONG DISTANCE PIANO MOVES?
Yes we do long distance piano moves. Although or home is in the GTA, we deliver or pickup pianos wherever they are. If you need your piano delivered or picked up outside of our usual area, please ask us. If you are flexible with your dates, that gives us an opportunity to try and combine your move with another customer’s and pass on the savings.
WHY DO YOU CHARGE PER STAIR?
Every stair that our team encounters with your piano requires their absolute attention and focus. Depending on the number of stairs, an additional team member or two may need to be added to the move to ensure the safe pickup or delivery of your piano.
DO YOU PROVIDE EXACT TIMES?
Our route is different every day. Our business depends on establishing the most efficient schedule possible. When you book the move, we will provide a possible window for pickup and/or delivery. When we establish our route for the next day, one of us will be in touch with a more specific time. On the day of the move, our team on the truck will be in regular communication with an ETA. Please remember that our team is on GTA roads all day, and cannot predict traffic conditions But we will stay in touch. If you require a specific time, there may be an additional charge.
DO YOU KNOW ANY GOOD PIANO TUNERS?
Yes we do know many Piano Technicians in the GTA! We do moves for several GTA Piano Technicians, Piano Dealers and Piano Restoration Houses. We’re happy to make a referral when you book your move. And don’t forget to tell them that My Piano Movers sent you!
